Start at the very beginning

I have never attempted a blog before but we all need to start somewhere.

Talking of starts, I started Stan & Essie because I was looking for completely natural dog shampoo that wouldn't change the texture of the coat. Being my autistic self I researched ....and researched,,,,and researched....and went down a million rabbit holes then decided to have a go at making a dog shampoo myself. I spent weeks coming up with a formula but I wasn't going to try it out on my dogs first, so used it on myself.

Post menopausal and having lost over 5 stone on GP prescribed Mounjaro for diabaetes, my hair was thin, falling out by the handful, lifeless and flat. Even after the first wash with my own formula shampoo I noticed a difference. I carried on using it and when I was happy to try it on the dogs I did.

Stan & Essie was born, in my head at least. There was a very long way to go before it became a reality !!!!!!!! Come back for the next installment.
