Our shampoo bars are all made to the same basic recipe. Whether they are from the 'Stan & Essie', or the 'Stan & Essie .....and you' range, they are the same basic cleansing formula with botanicals and fragrances or essential oils to provide the therapy your hair, or your dogs coat, needs.
Changing to a natural shampoo will take some adjustment and the great results will not happen on the first wash ... but they will be worth the effort.
Tips for Making the Switch from Chemical Liquid products to Natural Care Bars
It can be a challenge to make the switch to an all natural shampoo and conditioner. Here are a few tips to make the transition a bit easier:
Start slowly: Transitioning to a bar after using liquid products may take time for your hair to adjust. Begin by alternating between your regular shampoo and conditioner and the bar(s) until your hair becomes accustomed to the new formula.
The Stan & Essie natural shampoo will remove any buildup from your hair and scalp, allowing the conditioner bar to penetrate more effectively so you may find hair feels so 'squeeky clean' it is a bit shocking at first.
Experiment with application: Bars can be used in various ways, such as rubbing directly onto wet hair or lathering in your hands first and just applying the lather. Experiment to find the method that works best for your hair type and length.
